Cara Mancini - Geros
My artwork is a reflection of my passions for travel, people and culture, the environment, the sea... oil painting, mixed media, illustration, textile and surface design. My design style is painterly and illustrative, incorporating textures, bold colour and hand drawn elements throughout. I grew up on the slopes of Haleakala, Maui Hawaii and hope to carry the spirit of aloha through my work.
Colour is the way i see the world. Helps me to see and appreciate the little things... It enriches and is about feeling. It is part of our interpretation of the world and expression of it.
I have been fortunate to have called Australia home since 2004. My experiences growing up in the Pacific along with my time living abroad, have enriched my love of culture and our environments, creative collaboration and story telling expressed through art and design.
Aloha
